No Cummins INC company makes the Cummins engine.
no, ford did not invent cummins engine, clesie cummins does invented it
Cummins owns the engine. Dodge just offers the computer instead of cummins. Cummins is a private company it is not owned by Ford or Dodge.
Cummins is made by Cummins. They are one of largest diesel engine manufactures in the world.
6.9l is a ford/International Harvester engine (not cummins). Rated for 170hp.
MAYBE... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes. The only engine off the top of my head I can think of is the 5.9L I-6 Cummins. Go on YouTube.com and type in "Cummins Ranger." There is a guy with a Cummins Ford Ranger! :D Here's a link to YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/
Dodge, Ford only had the Cummins in the F-650 chassis. Ford used International diesels until, the new 6.7l V8 which they built in house.
7.3 liter cummins turbo diesel
No. Caterpillar and Cummins are competitors, and do not have any cooperative agreements with each other.
Depends on WHICH Cummins engine.
The Ford Motor Company never bought Cummins, Inc. That said, Ford has used Cummins engines in some of its trucks.
You mean 8.3 Cummins engine? Left hand side of the block, about 1/3 of the way up from the rear of the engine.
The Cummins motor is not a "Dodge". Dodge does use the "b" series Cummins engine in its pick up trucks. Ford does use the Cummins in its F650 and larger trucks. NO, Ford never has used the Cummins Diesel as far as I know. Up until 2010 the Powerstroke was built by Navistar, formerly International Harvester. In 2010 Ford starting building the Powerstroke themselves but kept the name. Dodge uses the Cummins diesel and GM uses the Duramax which was designed jointly with isuzu.
