Hood releases are not in glove compartment, that's trunk release. Hood release is usually on the drivers left side either right underneath the dash board or on the immediate left floor board, of the seat. If it's not in the interior, then look through the grill on the car for the lever and either pull it up or out depending on the car.
AnswerHello There, I just went out and poped my hood with the factory release in the glovebox. It is just inside at the top and slightly to the right of the glovebox door latch. On mine you cant see the release unless you almost put your head in the passanger seat and look up.
