The 2004 Pontiac Aztek does not have automatic headlights; the headlights must be manually turned on by the driver. However, it does feature daytime running lights that activate when the vehicle is in motion. For night driving or low-light conditions, the driver needs to switch on the headlights manually.
The headlights should turn on and off automatically depending on which setting you have your switch set at. The switch is located on the turn signal lever. I always leave mine on auto.
Yes
18 gallons.
my 2004 aztek has an 18 gallon tank
Could be a bad head gasket.
Go to Autozone, when you purchase the bulbs, they'll put them in for free
its probably the rev limiter kicking in
I have a 2004 and mine is in the back of the glove box. There should be a small door in the back of it.

Find the headlight switch. It is located on the far LH end of the dashboard just under the top of the dash. Turn all the way clockwise to turn on the headlights. Or you can turn all the way counterclockwise and the headlights will turn on automatically when it gets dark.
