You can find a diagram of a 1977 Corvette horn assembly at your local library. Look in the car repair section for a Corvette repair book.
According to the Assembly Manual it should be just off the I/P wiring harness under the dash near the fuse panal assembly.
I don't have one at the time but the horn themselve are located in front of the radiator. The low note is behind the head lights and the high note horn is mounted on the frame in between the head lights. Plus this location should be approximetely the same for a 78'.
Try looking in a motor manual at your local library.
wiring diagrams are in a repair manual or you could go to corvetteforum.com and someone will help you
Begin by removing the wiring harness from your 1996 Chevy Corvette horn. Remove the horn retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new horn.

To troubleshoot a horn problem on a 2001 Corvette, first check the horn fuse in the fuse box to ensure it's not blown. Next, inspect the horn itself for any signs of damage or corrosion, and test it by directly connecting it to a power source. If the horn works, check the wiring and the horn switch on the steering wheel for faults. Finally, if necessary, consult the vehicle's wiring diagram to trace any potential electrical issues.
It will be in the fuse box maybe under some other name which is on that circuit. Get a wiring diagram from MOTORLIT.COM and it will show what fuse the horn is on. The fuse is hidden in the center of the dash above the radio. There are three fuses and the horn relay is next to these fuses.
