not sure on a 92 but I have a 97 Dakota & the fuse for the horn is under the hood. Check the fuse box on the left fender well. inside the cover should tell which fuse it is
The reason for the problems with the horn on the Corvette could be attributed to a faulty fuse or horn relay. This can be located in the fuse and relay box that is located under a panel on the passenger side floor board.
Check your fuse box for the horn, and accessories will be the fuse for your locks and window.
The 1995 Chevrolet Corvette on relay switch can be found in the fuse box. The horn relay switch will be in the third column, second from the top.
It will be in the fuse box maybe under some other name which is on that circuit. Get a wiring diagram from MOTORLIT.COM and it will show what fuse the horn is on. The fuse is hidden in the center of the dash above the radio. There are three fuses and the horn relay is next to these fuses.
If you can't locate it in the fuse box on your kick panel, check under the hood. I do know that your horn relay is there and I think the fuse is too, but I'm not positive about the fuse.
check if there is a fuse box under your hood. That's where mine is but it is a 97.
Check the fuse first. If the fuse is good apply 12 volts directly to the horn. If it blows then the horn button on the steering wheel or wiring is defective. If not, the horn itself is defective.
Both, the horn relay and the horn fuse are located under the dash panel on the left side of the steering wheel. The fuse is a 20 amp fuse, lower left side of the fuse panel (which is somewhat difficult to access...especially if you have large hands) on the firewall. The horn relay is located above the fuse panel on the branch of wires coming out from the rear of the fuse panel.
It is located on the passenger side under the hood. You will have to open the black box by turning the knob. In side you will find a fuse and relay module for the horn.
The first thing to check when a horn stops working is the fuse. If the fuse is okay, it is possible that one of the connections has become loose or is broken. If the connections are okay, the horn itself may need to be replaced.
It's the 15 amp CTSY/CLK fuse on the fuse panel. The fuse panel is located on the right side of the instrument panel. Open the passenger door and you will see it.
