On the 3.6L bank one is the passenger side. On other engines it is driver side.

Assuming you mean P0135, that would be O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1 sensor 1). If the wiring to bank 1 sensor 1 is not damaged, it is probably a bad bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor. Replace it.
Trouble code P0042 means: HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 3)
