On a 1997 Ford Expedition :
( NO ) not on the front suspension
It could have the REAR load levelling air suspension
in the center of the dashboard
The Expedition can have the regular rear suspension...coil springs, shocks, etc or it could also have been equipped with air suspension. If yours is leaning to one side I'd bet you have air suspension and a bad air bag.
In the front passenger footwell by the kick panel you will see an off / on toggle switch for the air suspension from the factory
Check the Height Sensor.
In the right front passenger footwell - by or behind the kick panel along with the fuel pump inertia ( shut off ) switch

under the hood on the left front, it looks like a large fuse box.
It is on the passenger side behind the headlight and in front of the tire. It is buried deep down. I remember that I had to remove something to access it. Think it was the WW fluid reservoir.
