I'm not a mechanic / technician but on a 1988 Ford Ranger there might be
( 1 ) oxygen sensor ( upstream sensor )
That Vehicle has 2 oxygen sensors.
how many o2 sensors on a ford e350 van 2003
My 1995 Ford Explorer with the 4.0 L OHV engine has 2 , so I'm assuming your 1995 Ford Ranger 3.0 L would also have 2
If it's like a 1991 Ford Explorer ( with the 4.0 liter V6 engine ) It has ( 1 ) oxygen sensor
The 1992 Ford Taurus has two oxygen (O2) sensors. Both O2 sensors are located upstream of the catalytic converter with one on each exhaust bank.
There should be 2 (upstream) O2 sensors (one for each bank of cylinders) before the catalytic converter and only one (downstream) O2 sensor after the catalytic converter. All 3 are threaded into the exhaust system.
All O2 sensors are threaded into the exhaust system at various points.
i have a 2001 f250 v10 only have 2 o2 sensors
Looking at the 1991 Ford Ranger - 4.0 L V6 - engine wiring schematic in my Chilton repair manual , it shows ( ONE ) heated exhaust gas oxygen sensor
On my 1988, O2 sensor is threaded into side of exhaust pipe underneath near transmission. When I changed it, it was difficult to remove. I had to keep heating the exhaust pipe with a torch to get it out.
there are 4 o2 sensors
O2 sensors are located in the manifolds & front pipes
