If it has the 2.2L engine, yes.
You don't have to, the ECM takes care of that.
It has a coil pack but no distributor.
If it is the 2.2 engine, on the lower passenger side of the engine block. It is best reached from underneath.
this could be a coil or the modgul in the dist or broken rotor or bad coil packs depending on what u have also the knock senser could cause this hope this helps
