Yes
depending on tire size and gear ratio in axle 15-19 mpg
A tire can effect your gas mileage by a lot. If you do not have a inflated tire you can get 2-3 mpg less than use usually get.
The original equipment size was 225/75-16. The optional tire size is 245/70-16. The use of any other size will alter your speedometer and adversely effect mpg and handling. Stick with one of these sizes.
correct tire size & inflation, alignment, engine size, torque ratings gearing, aerodynamics & most important is weight of the vehicle, all contribute to MPG
Yes it does. At optimum pressure you get better mpg
That is a STARTLING reduction in mileage! Check the tire specification data plate on the inside drivers door jamb and make sure you have the correct size tires. If the new ones are smaller in circumference than the originals you would definitely lose mileage, but also your speedometer would be reading wrong also (smaller tire size = more RPMS = higher engine speed to maintain the same speed as previously).
Depending what size tire you have, for example the factory tires your looking at average of 23hwy/18city but you replace with over size tires for example 33x12.5R15 It's bigger/heavier tire which will drop your MPG about 15%-20%.
Adjust the display to show Avg MPG then press & hold both buttons until display reads 0 (zero). Takes about the count of 3.
It depends on a few things. first it will effect mpg if the rims are heavier then stock. also if the height of the wheel and tire are a totally different then stock can change the final gear ratio resulting in a different rpm espeically noticeable at cruzing speeds! let me know what you had and what you want or have I might be able to help more.
I went from stock tires to 31 by 10.5 and lost about 4 mpg so I would expect at least 6-8 with 35
Probably an MPG. it as better compression. but it depends on the length of the video etc.
It will to a limited degree, but so will the road surface, the air pressure in the tire, your driving style and the weather - -
