I've never heard of a timing chain that needed replacing unless there was a serious problem with the engine... I could be wrong. Timing chains do on occasion need replacement. But the difference in a chain and a belt, is that the chain will give you warning of it's immanent failure. The will become noisy, and the engine may become hard to time. Normally a chain will last 150,000-200,000 miles, or even more.
2006 corolla has a timing chain which does not have to ever be replaced.
Timing chain. You do not need to change it, ever.
The 2013 Hyundai Elantra has a timing chain. The timing chain the 2013 Elantra does not need to be replaced ever.

a slant 6 does in fact have a timing chain but it rarely ever wear out, break, or stretch, because of the durability of a slant 6.
To whom ever you are: :)) Timing chains, unlike timing belts, do not require regular interval replacement. The time chain is a life time part, (in most cases), in your case it is not under any warranty. The timing chain is oiled by splash from the oil pan itself. If you change your oil every 5000 miles or sooner, (I recommend 5000 miles, oil and filter), the timing chain will usually last the life of the vehicle. It is a VERY EXPENSIVE, replacement. I am a retired 25 year Toyota service manager .Very large service department and we probably dident replace 5 chains per year. We looked at over 2500 Toyotas a month. Hope this helped. Chuck
It could, but it is very rare.
It has a timing belt. Make sure that you replace it ever 60,000 miles. If it snaps on you, that is bad news!
No, because it does not have a timing belt, it has a chain that should last the life of the engine.
Ford Falcon 6 is one of the most famous models ever produced by the company. The engine uses neither a timing belt nor a timing chain, instead it uses a timing gear which is considered to be long lasting.
You should have a timing chain not a belt on that 3.0 liter motor. They last 300k or more and rarely ever have to be changed
you should never have to replace the chain. not impossible but rare that this has to ever be replaced. if it is a 2000 to 2003 model with a 3.3l v6 it has a timing belt which needs to be replaced every 105000 miles.
