OK, it is not a flasher in the common sense, but rather a relay that plugs in just above the fuse box. You must remove the fuse box cover panel and then the kickpanel cover, which has two screws and all located behind the passenger side kick panel. I have ordered the relay from Jeep and the part number they provided is: 56007243, which is the flasher for both the turn signals and the emergency flasher. The part should be here in a couple of days and if any of this changes I will update this posting.
The Cherokee Kid was created in 1996.
1996-2000 Cherokee.
Where is the windshield wiper relay located on a 1996 grand jeep Cherokee
No, the Grand is different from the Cherokee.
Your flasher relay is defective, replace it. See sources and related links for bulb information.
Yes
The thermostat on a 1996 Jeep Cherokee is under the housing where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine.
I believe it is located on the passenger side below the glove box right next to the fuse box should be the second flasher from the top where the first from the top is missing its grey on the 1996 model grand cherokee. I think
2nd fusebox under dash below steering wheel (no cover). Square RED and square BLUE box. One is FLASHER, one is TURN SIGNAL...I believe blue is flasher (simple to check).
