Does it have fuel, spark, compression?
a lot of factors to consider... will the engine rotate at all?
what kind of car 2002 Pontiac grandam se 2.2
Start the engine up. The engine will rotate the pulley on the alternator and charge the battery.
When you attempt to start engine, nothing happens-- similar to weak or dead battery. You may hear "click" and lights may dim, but engine will not rotate
your engine exhaust willnot be able to filter harmful elements that go into the air and you cant pass an inspection for a new sticker if its removed
Grab the key you inserted and turned to start it and rotate it back toward you, the engine will stop.
A conventional Ford marine engine will rotate clockwise for the front end
When the engine can no longer rotate.
Yes, a loose distributor can rotate so that the ignition timing for the engine is lost.
What do you mean by this? I would also like to point out that there is a microswitch attached to the gear selector on auto models which sometimes goes wrong (did on mine) and willnot allow you to start the engine without it being in "park" or "neutral"
Yes it would, but the engine will still rotate but just will not start
check the carb...then adjust the valves...
