Passenger side near firewall. Crawl under the car and look.
Look under the passenger side floor pan where the fire wall begins.
Where is the evaporator coil located? >>>> Drain line is probably clogged
There isn't a drain line. The jeep has a unibody frame construction and the evaporator pan drains directly into a frame member making it impossible to blow air up a tube to clear the drain path. Very poor engineering in my opinion.
In most cases it is either a leaking heater core or a plugged evaporator drain line Could be a bad windshield seal
Inside the unit under the evaporator coil. The condensate drain line is attached to it.
To unclog your evaporator drain line, first, turn off your air conditioning unit for safety. Locate the drain line, usually a PVC pipe, and use a wet/dry vacuum to suck out any blockage from the exterior opening. Alternatively, you can gently flush the line with a mixture of vinegar and water to dissolve any buildup. If the clog persists, consider using a plumber's snake or calling a professional for assistance.
Crawl under the vehicle and find the drain line. Use a unsharpened pencil to unclog the line. Be careful not to put a hole in the line.
condensation from evaporator coil. should be piped into a drain line leaving cooling coil.
The condensate drain line in an air conditioning system is typically located near the indoor evaporator coil. It is responsible for removing excess moisture that is produced during the cooling process.
The orifice tube on a 1999 GMC Safari is located in the high-pressure line of the air conditioning system. To find it, trace the aluminum line that runs from the condenser to the evaporator. The orifice tube is typically found near the evaporator, which is located inside the dashboard, requiring some disassembly to access. Make sure to discharge the AC system properly before attempting any repairs.
