could be one are two things... coolent temperature sensor which is found around your thermostat housing.... or fan relays found around battery in fuse box. could be two fuse boxes... a long fuse box and a smaller black box which on mine house the relays for fans.
On the front of the engine, near the rad fans.
Try the rear side of the radiator about 1/3 down from the top
Check the relay.

If the radiator cooling fans are not working - those are the first things I would check out. It is possible that they may be the heart of your problem, and the remainder of it (the A/C stopped working) might simply be a 'fail-safe' to protect the compressor. Start with the fuse and/or relays controlling the fans to see if they're good or they're blownl, and then the temperature sensors themselves (that are supposed to activate the fans into motion).
Let the car idle and come up to temperature, probably takes 15 minutes or so. Watch the gauge in the event the fans aren't working. When the temp reaches a certain point the fans will automaticaaly turn on, you should be able to see and hear them. pukenstein@aol.com
Answer:check to see if your fans are working. let it sit and idle for a couple mins (but keep an eye on the temp gauge.) and if it starts to overheat and the front fans don't kick on then that's your problem.otherwise its something wrong with a sensor or your water/antifreeze.
They run on 12 volts.
