Under hood in the power distribution center on the driver side fender.
It is supposed to be on Stud #2 under the hood. Mine is fine and I still can't get power to the rear plug.
It's supposed to be under the hood on Stud #2 30 amp. I tested mine and the fuse is good and the block has power, but I get no power in the plug in the rear still :(
I found an adapter of the Silverado plug connector at the local U-Haul Store.
Blown fuse, broken socket, broken charger plug.
Plug in the trailer harness into the 7 pin hookup next to the receive hitch if you have a stock towing package.
This year of truck has a separate circuit for the trailer turn/barke/tail lights. Look under the hood, under the fuse box. Look for the trailer fuses on the fuse directory

The trailer has a dead short in that right side brake light circuit.
under the hood in the fuse panel top left may have a red dummy fuse if the trailer brake wire harness wasn't installed
on the oil pan
