I'm working on that same problem right now. I've traced the wiring and it goes into the cab, passenger side just below the hood level opening. On the other end the wiring goes down to several locations on the passenger side of the engine. It appears to me Toyota built one of those setup's, where in effect, 'you have to take off all the tires to change the spark plugs...'. Not looking forward to the drudgery!

First of all this is like going back in time. The conversion will depend on they type of EFI you have. If you have a multiport EFI system then you will need to remove the intake manifold and get a carb intake manifold, remove all of the extra sensors, remove the computer, remove the wiring harness. Then you have to purchase a wiring system for your application, purchase and jet a carb and bring your car to a good tuner to tune the vehicle.
