did you check the battery? Any number of possibilities, but the filter should be checked. Security system could be shutting the car down. Insert the key in the drivers side door and lock & then unlock the door. This should disable the alarm. Then try starting.
You need to open up the trunk, climb in towards the back and look up and you will see the wire connections leading up to the third brake light. It can be disconnected there and pulled out from the outside. Install the new one the same way, reversed order of course. Hope this helps.
