Start with a good tune up including spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, air and fuel filters.

yes definitely my 96 Chevy was stalling every time i stopped at a light or stop sign and my brother changed my crank shaft sensor and it doesn't do it anymore.
It might but you may also have bad spark plugs/plug too. A bad distributor cap can cause it to miss too.
Spray WD-40 on the hinges or sqirt some oil on the higes.
It could be that you are not using high enough octane gas in it?
Most common cause of that is the rotors are out of round are warped. REPLACE ROTORS.

There is a control module from Chevy for $65.00 that controls the rear window defrogger and antenna signal. Its located in left rear window pillar behind the plastic trim. its very simple to replace.
