How come your 1991 Ford Festiva will start sometimes but most of the time it won't It has good fuel pump pressure and the coil is good?

Every vehicle needs GOOD spark & PROPER fuel pressure to run. When the car won't start you should check for both. Get the spec for fuel pressure as some vehicles won't run if it's out by a little bit. Also use a spark checker to check to make sure the spark is strong enough. If both are o/k more diagnostics are needed. Maybe get it checked by a shop and even if you want to fix it yourself you can pay them to diagnose the proble then take it home & fix it yourself.
