Remote start system
A tow truck is the easiest way. You could pry out the ignition but yould ruin the steering column in the process.
A four-wheeler might run by itself due to a malfunction in the ignition system, such as a stuck key in the ignition or a faulty ignition switch that keeps the engine running without input from the driver. Additionally, issues with the throttle control or an automatic transmission stuck in gear could allow the vehicle to move without acceleration. Lastly, in some cases, a software glitch in modern vehicles with electronic controls could lead to unintended acceleration.
Yes, but it isn't the ignition itself, it could be bad linkage rods that connect to the starter motor.
well all pcs come with explorer but its useless without a router. you could open it but it just wouldn't display anything interesting
This is far beyond anything that WikiAnswers can answer. This answer could take a website by itself.
I'm assuming you mean an ignition coil. If that is correct, an improperly functioning ignition coil will cause the engine to have a misfire, and could lead to severe engine damage if not corrected expeditiously.
It can be the solonoid or the starter itself. TAke it to a garage and have it checked out. I have the same problem in my Explorer Sport. It could be your Anti-Theft immobilizer. Somehow my keys unprogrammed themselves, which didnt match the code in the ignition, therefore the car would not start. If a mechanic cannot fix the problem, call a locksmith.
Could be a bad ignition coil either traditional type or C.O.P. (Coil on Plug) type
Could be a bad ignition coil Have vehicle scanned to see if problem has set any codes
several could bes. If there is no action, the engine does not turn, the rod running from the key switch to the ignition switch on the column could be broken, or the ignition switch itself could haved malfunctioned. If there has be work immediately privious to the problem, check for loose connection, expecially on the ignition switch.
If your 2004 Ford Explorer won't shift out of park, it could be due to a faulty brake light switch, which prevents the shift interlock system from engaging. Another possibility is a problem with the gear shifter itself or the transmission linkage. Additionally, if the ignition system isn't functioning properly, it may also affect shifting. Checking these components should help identify the issue.
You would have to disconnect the wires from the stock ignition, so you would have to tear it out unless you could find a way to do it without it.
