i have a 1990 Chevy Cheyenne 305 ci. 2wheel drive with 250,000 miles on it one owner me , i kept every thing new oil change every 2500 miles not 3000 , kept front end well greased every oil change , other than brake shoes and pads , along with drums in back and rotors up front , i have not had any break downs at all , it has never been in any shop other than for New York state inspection each year some rust now after 20 yrs still runs and drives i also had fair gas milage for a 1/2 ton truck i was getting 18-23 mpg on regular pump gas tires and brakes all i had to replace in my opinion a very well made and tough truck i used mine to haul fire wood home a trip of 25 miles each way with wood stacked as high as the cab , i had wood sides on my box for hauling wood , a few overload tickets i had to pay , but wood made home ok truck is a good buy at any price used or new
