Don't know if I can be much help.. but I have a 96' Chateau with four captains chairs... The left arm rest of the passenger seat was shot, basically went down about 4-5" farther than it should..... I took off the arm rest and found that the support for the armrest was actually broken with a huge gap of about 3/4 of an inch.. I took a floor jack handle and used it as a pry bar to shift it back into place.. The inside portion of the armrest was pretty well worn, so I went to my local tru-value hardware and bought a round shim to place over the post. this worked great for the first few weeks until someone put REAL pressure on it and it broke again... To make a long story short.... I ended up switching out the passenger seat with the rear driver side seat... That way...it's like new and the broken arm rest is in back now and will hardly be used...if ever.. on that side! Best of luck!
It attaches to the door with screws. Should be straightforward enough to replace it.
how do u replace passenger armrest on 2007 Chevy conversion van

How to repair the rear door latches on my e 350 van. The bottom latch will not hold . How do I get the latch to hold Thanks
To remove the armrest from a Renault Trafic van, start by locating the screws or bolts that secure it to the seat frame. Typically, these are found underneath the armrest or on the sides. Use a suitable screwdriver or socket wrench to remove the fasteners, then gently lift the armrest off the seat. If there are any clips or covers, ensure these are also detached before fully removing the armrest.
chainsaw charlie time :D
To remove the armrest from a Chevy van captain chair, first locate the screws or bolts securing the armrest to the chair frame. Use an appropriate screwdriver or socket wrench to remove these fasteners. Once detached, gently lift the armrest away from the chair. If the armrest is attached with clips, you may need to carefully pry it off.
you replace the door panel or buy armrest covers that go over the existing ones. This will cost you less and address the concern.
Put the armrest in the upright position. Push in hard on the armrest and move past the 12 O'clock position to about a 10 O'clock position. There is a sweet spot that will allow it to be pulled out. This works on 93 and 95 model years. .
You can find a diagram of the rear drum brake assembly for a 1993 Ford Club Wagon van at most auto parts stores. It can be found in Ford Club Wagon repair manuals.
Auto parts store or online. Even a book store might have one.
In a repair manual or check with a Ford dealer, sometimes they'll print things out for you.
