how do i open the fuse panel on a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer
( 2 ) There is a fuse panel in the end of the dash on the drivers side ( the plastic fuse panel cover is visible with the drivers door open ) and the Power Distribution Box in the engine compartment on the 1997 to 2001 Mercury Mountaineer

open the driver side door to get to it, it is on the left side of the dash neer the door hing

Open driver's door. On the side of the dashboard there is a panel. Using a screwdriver in the slot, pry off panel cover and you will find fuse box and a fuse diagram.
Open the drivers door and in the drivers end of the dash you will see a small removable plastic fuse panel cover , the fuses are behind the cover
