BE CAREFUL, I tried to loosen it up first by using some liquid wrench and then let the Jeep idle for about 5 min. so that the component could get hot, for easier removal. Well that was not the case. The metal is very soft and I ended up bending it out of shape. I did not force it any more because I did not want to break the switch off.
