I have a 2003 Jetta, and when I took the car in for routine maintenance I was told there was a RECALL on the heated seats (as well as several other recalls on the car). At the time my heated seats worked fine, but they said there were apparently cases of it malfunctioning.

There are bolts that you must remove in order to take out the front seats of a 2002 Monte Carlo. There are two in the back of the seat and two in the front of the seat. If you have heated seats you will also have to remove the wires for that before you take the seat out.
Yes. I have a 2002 Honda CRV with heated leather seats. It also comes with heated power mirrors and sunroof. The seats are only heated on the seat not the back because of the side airbag in the seats. You can usually tell if a crv is a fully loaded model if the spare tire cover is hard plastic painted to match the car as opposed to a flexible black zip cover.
It depends whether or not your trailblazer came with heated seats, but if it did the switch would be on the door. The door switches should be (from front to back) Window Lock, Forward Window Controls, Passenger Window Controls, Door Lock, Seat Heaters.
