hell yes,but you'll have to invert the trepoder plate thus allowing an optimum fuel mix.also the dash pot on the early modules will machined to an internal capacity of 80 c. c. hope this works 4 ya bud, try it you'll be surprised as hell.
There isn't one Timing is Controlled by the PCM. Turning the distributor only adjust fuel sync so don't do it. Unless you have a pricey scanner it will be hard to get it back in Sync
An "H" engine code in the fifth position of the VIN designates a 340ci or 360ci engine. Other engine codes are "B" (198ci), "C"(225ci) or "G"(318ci).

Yes , 1976 was the last year that the 360 cubic inch /5.9 liter V8 was used in the Ford trucks ( my information only goes back to 1968 , but it was being used in 1968 )
yes, but it's not a direct swap. the 351W is a small block and the 360 is a big block. As such you will need to change things like motor mounts.Good luck

The horsepower of a 360 cubic inch (ci) engine can vary significantly depending on its design, components, and intended use. For example, a stock Chrysler 360 engine typically produces around 245 to 300 horsepower. However, high-performance versions or those with modifications can achieve significantly higher horsepower, sometimes exceeding 400 horsepower. Therefore, the exact figure can differ based on specific engine configurations and tuning.
could be a bad clockspring

you have to remove the fuel tank and then I think you have to twist the fuel pump then it should slide right out.
Hard. The 360 and V10 take different computers, transmissions, radiators, wiring harneses, exhaust systems,.......
Check for a vacuum leak somewhere. It might just be a cracked rubber vacuum line. Try short sprays of starting fluid at or near a suspected vacuum leak. You'll hear the engine idle speed change immediately if you find a leak.
