To adjust the tappets on a Ford Laser, first ensure the engine is cold and remove the valve cover. Rotate the engine to set the piston of the cylinder you're adjusting at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke. Use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the tappet and the rocker arm; adjust the tappet by loosening the lock nut and turning the adjusting screw until the correct gap is achieved, then tighten the lock nut to secure the adjustment. Repeat this process for each cylinder as needed, following the manufacturer's specifications for clearance.
No just the rocket cover
adjust tappets on saxo 1.1 and gaps
Brakes are adjusted automatically
brakes adjust themselves automatically

They are not adjustable. They are not adjustable.
You need to know clearance to adjust tappets accurately.
Yes. must be done hot. Valve stem to rocker : Inlet .30mm Exhaust .30mm Camshaft to rocker: Inlet .19mm Exhaust .19mm EFI have hydraulic tappits
0.30 inlet and exhaust. If EFI then it has hydraulic tappits that self adjust. Chris
you need a special tool, i made one but was hard work
They are self adjusting. You don't have to adjust them. Problem is the wear limit on the drum is only 1mm. When worn to the limit the adjusters don't work.
To set the tappets on a Ford Sierra V6 3.0L, first, ensure the engine is cold. Remove the valve covers and use a feeler gauge to check the clearance between the tappet and the rocker arm. Adjust the tappets by loosening the lock nut and turning the adjusting screw to achieve the specified clearance, typically around 0.25 mm (0.010 inches) for intake and exhaust valves. Recheck the clearance after tightening the lock nut, and then reassemble everything once the correct settings are confirmed.
