According to the manual there is no adjustment Many times the lining wears on the rear brake shoes and if you adjust the lining to the proper clearance with the drum it will also correct the emergency brake setting You may also need new lining There is a special adjusting device on the bottom of the brake shoes You have to remove the tire and brake drum to observe this

97 Ford E150 Van - rear brakes make a loud noise and then grab hard Any ideas Thanks?

I have a 1999 e150 that did the same thing come to find out the little clip that holds tension on the rear brake at the bottom where the automatic brake adjust is (looks like a little rod with teeth like a spocket) the clip also has a short piece of cable attached to it broke and the clip got stuck between the brake pad and brake drum and torn up the brake pads but didn't hurt the drum . You can buy a kit at advance with all the clips and springs in it for about $15.00 plus some new brake pads if there damaged.

Can you convert a 7 passenger Ford conversion van into a 10 -12 passenger van?

A 7 passenger built on an E150 chassis can not be safely converted, but a 7 passenger built on an e350 can. The e150 does not have enough spring rating and if it is an e150 that was built before 2007 the brake system is to small as well.
