To adjust the steering box on an LDV Convoy, first, locate the adjustment screw on the top of the steering box. With the vehicle on a level surface, turn the screw clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen, making small adjustments while checking for play in the steering wheel. After adjusting, ensure that the steering feels responsive without excessive play. Finally, test drive the vehicle to confirm that the steering is functioning properly and make further adjustments if necessary.
It,s in the chasis on the drivers side straight opposite the oil filter... It's a swine to get too...
The LDV Convoy was produced between the years of 1996-2005. The LDV Convoy was a series of panel vans that were often used by the emergency services (like the City of London Police department).

The diagnostic socket on a LDV Convoy 2000 is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side. It may be found near the steering column or behind a panel that can be removed for access. To identify it, look for a 16-pin connector that is commonly used for OBD diagnostics.

It means a service is due
It's inside the chassis rail, right next to the engine mounting......your looking for a nut with a screw going through it. Virtually impossible to get into with a ring spanner as you have to undo the bolt anti-clockwise and turn the screw clockwise, making sure you dont over do it. Best is to jack your convoy up on stands and work that way........a frustrating job, but will save you £300 for a recon unit on e-bay. Hope this helps James
