To bleed air out of the transmission on a 2002 Ford ZX2, first ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is off. Locate the Transmission Fluid dipstick, remove it, and use a funnel to add the appropriate transmission fluid to the fill tube. After filling, start the engine and cycle through the gears (Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive, and back to Park) to allow the fluid to circulate and displace any trapped air. Finally, check the fluid level again and top off if necessary.
You dont really have to bench bleed the cylinder. It makes it easier to get the air out after its put on. If you dont bench bleed it, you just have to pump it until your leg wears out to get all the air out of the line.
If the cooling system is working properly, it will bleed itself.

If This Is To Remove Air From Fuel Lines. Forget It. You Do Not Have To Bleed The Fuel Line.
put an air compressor hose on one end
To bleed the clutch on a 2002 Chrysler Voyager 2.4 petrol, start by locating the clutch slave cylinder, usually mounted on the transmission. Use a wrench to loosen the bleed valve on the slave cylinder. Have an assistant pump the clutch pedal several times, then hold it down while you open the bleed valve to release air and fluid; close the valve before they release the pedal. Repeat this process until no air bubbles are present in the fluid, ensuring to keep the reservoir filled with brake fluid throughout.
There is a bleed screw on the thermostat housing. Remove the screw with the engine loose. Ounc you have pure coolant and no air you can close off the bleed screw.
I'm not sure why you would want to do this. The fuel pressure reguator will automaticly bleed air from the system.
The 2002 Ford Escort zx2 does have an air intake air temperature sensor. The sensor is at the top of the engine on the drivers side.
