Normally there is a drainage valve at the bottom of the radiator, possibly on the drivers side. Open the radiator cap to relieve the pressure and make sure you have a bin underneath the valve to catch the coolant. I have a 95 cutlass supreme and the capacity is 10 quarts. Not all of the coolant will drain out, as some is in the block. Filling is more tricky. On mine, there are two bleeder valves, one on the tube above the water pump, and a second above the thermostat housing. You need to fill the system until both valves (while open) show coolant full. Then close the system, start the engine and run it up to operating temperature with the heat on high, in the cabin. This will allow the coolant to circulate through the heater core as well as the engine channels. Keep an eye on the engine temperature gauge inside, as the engine runs up to temperature. You should notice the temperature climb, peak, and then fall. The falling means that the thermostat has opened and thus the coolant level dropped as the coolant spread past the thermostat. Turn off the engine, let it cool, then open both bleeder valves and top off the coolant. Repeat the procedure once or twice more until the coolant stays full. Then you are good to go. As a note, while you have the system drained, it makes sense to change the thermostat. You can get one for around $10 or so. Good luck
The 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass cooling system has a fluid capacity of 5.5 gallons. The cooling system fluid should consist of 50 percent antifreeze.

Low coolant? Cooling fan not working? Water pump not circulating water? System airbound? Radiator plugged or restricted? Thermostat not fully opening?
Its a suspension package... sportier suspension basically, with better brakes and a better cooling system too i think. This is right from a service manual. RPO code FE3 stands for Sport Suspension System
To replace the water pump in a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, first disconnect the battery and drain the coolant from the radiator. Remove any components obstructing access, such as the serpentine belt and the alternator, if necessary. Unbolt the water pump from the engine block, clean the gasket surfaces, and install the new pump with a new gasket. Reassemble all components, refill the cooling system with coolant, and check for leaks after starting the engine.
In a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. To access it, you typically need to remove the rear seat and the access panel or, in some cases, drop the fuel tank from the vehicle. It's important to ensure the fuel system is depressurized before attempting any repairs or replacements.
Open the hood. Facing the engine from the front of the card, look on the left side of the card...near the cooling system overflow bottle. To the right of the area is the drive belt. In the lower area you will see the two hoses for the cooling system fluids that connect to the water pump. The drive belt goes over a pulley that drives the water pump.
at the junk yard or just take that bull s###t off crimp it or plug it but still run the pump for the belt.
Where can I find diagram of electrical system on 1992 cutllas supreme
Could be a few things, plugged radiator, bad thermostat, bad waterpump, electric fan not kicking on when it's supposed to or the fan itself could be bad, also the cooling system could need flushed and a proper 50/50 mix put back in.
were abs anit-lock brakes system
In a 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, the Bank 1 oxygen sensor is located on the engine's exhaust manifold or just downstream in the exhaust system. Specifically, it is positioned before the catalytic converter on the side of the engine that corresponds to cylinder bank 1, which is typically the driver's side for this vehicle. Accessing it may require some maneuvering due to limited space in the engine compartment.
