I think it depends on the model (i have a 1999 KA) but i had a problem where my clutch pedal did nothing and went completely to the floor and i could not select or change gear, after searching through the internet and various forums the most common answer i found was that the 'bleed nipple' was in the gearbox itself and that its advisable to replace the whole clutch and gear box, a lot of work, time and likely a lot of money.
The first thing you should check is that there is enough hydraulic fluid in the reservoir (i used run of the mill brake fluid), this is the pod second on the right, make sure the fluid level is between min and max and pump the clutch a few times to get the fluid through the system as the clutch pedal also acts as a self adjusting mechanism for the hydraulics. try that first.
To 'bleed' the hydraulics you simply need to remove the air filter and underneath you will see the 'nipple', bleed it and be sure to catch any fluid that runs as it is very toxic (also i advise wearing gloves for this). re-tighten nipple and pump clutch a few more times and if this works for you as it did for me you will hopefully find that your clutch problem is fixed.
Be aware that you may have a very small leak in the pipes somewhere and so you should check your fluid levels weekly.
I'm not a mechanic, i don't know that this will work for you but it did for me so give it a shot.
Good luck. AB
== == Yes, all clutches on KA's are hydraulic.
You will find it under the air filter (easy to remove filter btw). AB
As on many vehicles, the clutch fluid reservoir is shared with the brake fluid reservoir.Pretty easy to find.Whatever you do,don't get confused between gearbox oil(which goes in the gearbox..DUHH!)and brake/clutch fluid.
