The light assy has to be removed. Some of the screws are hidden pretty good and you just have to find them.
There are two screws, and they are located on the uprights, inboard of the light assembly. They are accessible through two holes adjacent to the light. Remove the screws, and the light assembly pivots outward, thereby releasing two hinge clips on the outboard side of the light.
