How do you change an injector on a2003 expedition?

to change a fuel ijector you must first depressurize the system . take off the fuel rail on the side with the injector being changed. two bolts secure the rail than you can lift rail off injectors and to the side. be careful not to remove the top "o" rings on the injectors. just pull up and out the injectoryou want to change, making sure the old ring comes out also. clean where the new one will seat.if the old rings are good, they can still be used.i prefer to get new ones. there very cheap. place the new injector into position. carefully put the fuel rail back , and secure it with the two bolts.....

the easeist way i found to relive the fuel pressure to the ststem is by disconnecting (electictally-un plug) the fuel pump"inertia" switch. start engine and let run until it stops-about 3-5 seconds. when finished with work on system ,just plug in the connector back into the switch, and "reset" the switch by pushing the button down if it popped...........location is behind the passengers side kick panel....Tom Wade...
