tie rods may be ball joints that is all
If you have a squeak that won't quit it is probably the ball joints...I had to have mine replaced on a 97 Ford F250..The ball joints for that year cannot be lubricated; they are sealed..once water and trash start to build up it's just a matter of time before they start making an annoying squeak.........
we need to know how to remove and installation on ball-joints for a ford f250 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive
Replacing a ball joint on a Ford 250 requires removing the wheels, brake assembly, as well as the spindle. From there, the ball joints can be removed and replaced.
To replace the ball joints on a 1987 F250 4x4, start by safely lifting the vehicle and removing the front wheel. Next, disconnect the brake caliper and rotor, then remove the tie rod end and lower control arm. Use a ball joint press to remove the old ball joints from the control arm and install the new ones. Finally, reassemble all components, ensuring everything is torqued to specification, and repeat on the other side if necessary.
The fuse box is located on the inside of a 2004 F250. The fuse box will be found in the floorwell.
I need to do mine aswell on 98 F250 4x4 at retail is about $70CAD for each of the lower ball joints and the uppers are about $120CAD each, the uppers include the control arm and it comes pre assembled. You'll need in total two lowers and two uppers. If you plan on doing the work yourself you will need a ball joint seperator (pickle fork) $15CAD and a ball joint press $120CAD. If you plan on getting a mechanic to do it it would probably run you about $450 in labor costs plus the cost of parts at wholesale $260 roughly.

Look for disconnect wire around your axle. Then check your fusle box in side your truck. Good luck
