To change the brakes on a 1999 Chevy Prism, first, safely lift the car and remove the wheel. Then, remove the caliper by unbolting it and slide it off the rotor. Replace the brake pads by sliding out the old ones and inserting the new ones, ensuring they are properly aligned. Finally, reattach the caliper, replace the wheel, and lower the car.
Remove wiring harnesses, unbolt it, remove from engine. Install new alternator, apply tension using bar, bolt it, hookup wiring harnesses.
why does gas splash out when filling a 2002 chevy prism
The struts on a 1999 Chevy Prism are changed by jacking the vehicle up and removing the wheel. The struts are then unbolted from the vehicle while the tension is low, and new struts put in place.
