On a 2000 Lincoln Navigator, the inlet hose from the engine to the heater core is typically the lower hose connected to the heater core. This hose carries hot coolant from the engine to the heater core, allowing the heater to warm the cabin air. It's usually located on the passenger side of the engine compartment. To identify it, look for the hose that connects to the heater core inlet on the firewall.

To replace the heater hose on a 2000 Volvo V70, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery cable. Locate the heater hose running from the engine to the heater core, then use pliers to loosen the hose clamps and carefully remove the old hose. Install the new hose by securing it with the clamps, making sure it's properly seated, and finally reconnect the battery cable. Check for leaks after running the engine and ensure everything is functioning correctly.
