To change the trunk lid lights on a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII, first, open the trunk and locate the light assembly. Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it, then pull out the old bulb and replace it with a new one. Finally, reinsert the socket into the assembly and twist it clockwise to secure it in place. Make sure to test the new bulb to ensure it's working properly.

On a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII, the air ride compressor is located in the trunk, specifically on the driver's side, near the rear wheel well. It is mounted to the body of the vehicle and is usually covered by a panel that may need to be removed for access. The compressor is responsible for maintaining the air suspension system, adjusting the ride height as needed.
