How do you change oil filter 2009 Ford Escape?

There are 2 different filters for the 2009 Ford escape 2.5 litre 4 cylinder, one is a spin on type, the other a cartridge type..the cartridge type is found on the front of the engine, looks like a fuel pump of yesteryear. There is an allen key socket on the bottom , you must remove this, let it drain, then unscrew the plastic housing and remove/replace the cartridge.

I believe Ford changed oil filters on the 2009 model year- Escapes built in late 2008 and early 2009 used the screw on filter, ones built early to mod 2009 use the cartridge..
