find the master cylinder and the brake line take the brake line off let all the fluid drain out then take the old one all the way off and put thenew back on
I just read that there was a recall on the fuel lines and other parts sometime in 2004. Google "recalls on a 96 olds aurora" and it will list it.
To remove the AC compressor from a 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora, first, ensure the vehicle is off and disconnected from the battery. Next, recover the refrigerant from the AC system using appropriate equipment. Once the refrigerant is removed, disconnect the AC lines from the compressor, unbolt the compressor from its mounting brackets, and carefully lift it out of the engine bay. Finally, replace any seals or O-rings before installing a new compressor if necessary.
To replace the master cylinder on a 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora, first, ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface and the engine is off. Disconnect the battery, then remove the brake fluid reservoir cap and drain the fluid. Unbolt the master cylinder from the brake booster, disconnect the brake lines using a line wrench (be cautious of any remaining brake fluid), and remove the old master cylinder. Install the new master cylinder, reconnect the brake lines and battery, and refill the brake fluid, bleeding the brakes to remove any air from the system.
To replace the fuel sending unit in a 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora, first, ensure the vehicle is safely lifted and secured. Disconnect the battery, then remove the fuel pump access cover in the trunk. Carefully detach the fuel lines and electrical connectors from the sending unit, and unscrew the unit from the fuel tank. Install the new sending unit by reversing the removal steps, ensuring all connections are secure and leak-free before reconnecting the battery.
The 1998 Oldsmobile fuel lines are held in place with swivel nuts on each end of the fuel line. Turn the swivel nuts to the left to remove the old rotted fuel lines. Reverse the process to install the new fuel lines.
To replace the rear air suspension on a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora, first, safely lift and support the rear of the vehicle. Disconnect the air lines and electrical connectors from the air springs, then remove the lower mounting bolts to detach the old air springs. Install the new air springs by reversing the removal process, ensuring all connections are secure. Finally, reconnect the air lines and electrical connectors, and test the system to ensure proper operation.
To change the A/C dryer in an Oldsmobile Achieva, first ensure the A/C system is fully discharged to avoid refrigerant exposure. Disconnect the battery, then locate the A/C dryer, typically mounted near the condenser. Remove the mounting bolts and disconnect the refrigerant lines, taking care to replace any O-rings to prevent leaks. Install the new dryer, reconnect the refrigerant lines, and recharge the A/C system with refrigerant.
The Aurora.
I have not changed one on an Aurora, however, I have changed other types and they all seem similar. Usually getting at them is the hard part. You will remove 2-3 bolts, 1-2 vaccum lines, sometimes a metal tube, clean off the old gasket and reverse the procedure. Before I would replace one, I would spray(soak) it with 'DEEPCREEP' made by the SEA FOAM company. Most EGR valves stick because of carbon build-up and this product will dissolve carbon. It may require a couple appications. I hope this helps you. Mark
To change the fuel pump on a 1999 Oldsmobile Delta 88, first ensure the vehicle is safely elevated and disconnect the battery. Remove the fuel tank by unbolting it from the chassis and carefully lowering it, then disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors from the old pump. Replace the old fuel pump with the new one, reattach the fuel lines and electrical connections, reposition the fuel tank, and finally reconnect the battery. Always check for leaks before starting the engine.
be more specific, bleed, what kind, or crossreferences of other models..
the filter is under the car even with the rear tires coming a few inches out from the gas tank there are two lines going to the tank one has the filter on it its very simple to reach and change
