Remove the front tire and wheel. Remove the caliper bolts with an Allen wrench and lift the caliper from the pivot assembly. When you remove this the pads should drop out. There is possibly a silicone on the back side but over time this degrades and should pose no problem when removing the pads. After removing the pads clean the surface of any debris or remaining sealant. A putty knife should do for this tool. Then collapse the caliper piston using a C Clamp about a 4-6 inch clamp should do, slowly and evenly. Using the edges of the piston and piece of flat stock, to do this. Ispect the rotors for damage and paralel surfaces. These are also easily replaced by removing them from the lugs. If the surfaces are badly worn or scored by the pads. It will do no good to put good pads on bad rotors, and they are relatively inexpensive. Reinstall the calipers over the rotor and slip them into position alligning the caliper to the holes for the slide bolts(Allen bolts). The threads should have anti seize compound on the threads of the threads,do not contaminate any of the braking sufaces with this compound, it could prevent the brakes from doing their job. Then place the wheel and tire assembly.

The front wheel stud on a 1992 Chevy Blazer S10 can be changed by jacking the vehicle up, removing the wheel, and unbolting the caliper. The rotor assembly can then be removed, and the wheel stud pressed or hammered out of its seat.
