IF YOU REMOVE THE BATTERY YOU CAN SEE THE THE CABLE TAPE THE OLD TO THE NEW END AND PULL IT THROUGH
There is no cable....It's all done with a sensor and electronics.
I pretty sure it doesn't have a speedometer cable, it is electronic.
Remove the decorative cover to your 2001 Chevy Lumina stereo. Remove the stereo retaining screws. Slide the stereo out and remove the wiring harness. Remove the antenna cable.
i think you disconck the ground cable from the battery for at least 30 seconds
I think so...
Remove the positive cable from your 1992 Chevy Lumina battery. Remove the cables from the front of the starter. Remove the starter retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new starter.
when in doubt, you can always follow the positive battery cable down to the starter. It will end up there.
To change the camshaft position sensor on a 1997 Chevy Lumina, first disconnect the negative battery cable for safety. Locate the sensor, which is typically positioned near the engine block, and unplug the electrical connector. Remove the mounting bolt(s) securing the sensor, then take out the old sensor. Install the new sensor in reverse order, secure it with the bolt(s), reconnect the electrical connector, and finally reattach the battery cable.
In a 1995 Chevy Lumina, the speedometer cable connects to the transmission at the speed sensor. The other end typically attaches to the back of the speedometer gauge in the instrument cluster. To access it, you may need to remove the dashboard or instrument panel. It's important to ensure the cable is properly secured to avoid issues with speedometer readings.
To adjust the cable, pull up the cable release at the rear of the throtle body and move the cable all the way to the rear, Then get inside the car and mash the accelerator all the way to the floor. This should adjust it.
To change the condenser on a 1999 Chevy Lumina with a 3.8L engine, first disconnect the negative battery cable and discharge the A/C system properly. Remove the front grille and radiator support to access the condenser. Disconnect the refrigerant lines, electrical connectors, and any mounting bolts holding the condenser in place. Finally, install the new condenser by reversing the removal steps and recharge the A/C system.
That particular part (shifter cable, including the bushings) has been discontinued. I tried finding the same piece for my cable and that's what Chevy told me. You'd have to either go to a scrap yard and find one from an old Lumina, or another car that uses the same cable part. Or replace the cable with something else that works.
