Start by locating the sensor. It will be located on the side wall of the Head. searching an internet based image search will show you where its located. Secondly, disconnect the sensor wire harness. Take the appropriate wrench and loosen the sensor. Grab the sensor with you'r hand and phisically pull back, pulling the sensor compleatly out of the engine head. Discard the old sensor, that is unless you need the sensor to take to the parts store for a core refund, but useally these sensors are worthless. Take the new sensor and reverse the process. Push the sensor into place. Tighten with the same wrench as used before, and replace the wire harness. There we go, all done, oh and that pesky light that won't go off, you guessed it, back to the parts store to have the nice man in the bow tie to take the scanner and eliminate the light. The only problem is, is that these type of sensor rarley malfunction or go bad. You may have an engine knock and not know it. It is possible.
