the filter is internal and cannot be changed unless the trany is taken apart, ur better off to just change the fluid and if its really bad change it again in about 2 weeks just so that it can be cleaned out.
what are you trying to improve???
You have to drain/remove the "transmission" oil pan to get access to the filter.
i was told by the dealer on a 1993 civic there is no filter just change the fluid.
Remove transmission oil pan for acces to filter Replace fluid, filter, and gasket
you have to take of the tranny of the motor
You don't. Most Honda transmission have a non-serviceable filter that is located inside the transmission. The transmission must be disassembled to get at the filter. It is designed to last the life of the transmission. By the time the filter is clogged, the transmission needs overhauling.
The transmission filter is located inside the transmission.
Check and/or change transmission fluid and filter have transmission rebuilt
Were do I locate the fuel filter on a 1993 Ford probe 4 cylinder
Same place you check it.
To change the transmission filter on a 1993 Oldsmobile 98, first, ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and secure it with wheel chocks. Drain the transmission fluid by removing the transmission pan bolts and letting the fluid flow out. Once the pan is removed, take out the old filter and replace it with a new one, ensuring it is seated properly. Reinstall the transmission pan with a new gasket, refill with the appropriate transmission fluid, and check for leaks.
YES.. Honda does not make transmission with servicable filters. the only way to access the filter is to "overhaul" the transmission. Macs Transmissions (Houston, TX)281-394-4951macstransmissions@gmail.com
