Also, if you purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through. Very simple.

To change the windshield wipers on a 2001 Kia Rio, first lift the wiper arm away from the windshield. Press the small tab on the wiper blade connector to release the old blade and slide it off the arm. Align the new wiper blade with the arm, ensuring it clicks into place when you press the tab. Finally, gently lower the wiper arm back onto the windshield and repeat the process for the other wiper if necessary.

In a 2001 Mercury Cougar, the fuse for the windshield wipers is located in the fuse box, which is typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side. You will need to remove the fuse box cover to access the fuses. Look for the fuse labeled for the windshield wipers; it is usually a 30-amp fuse. If the wipers are not functioning, check this fuse for any signs of damage or a blown filament.

Automobile fuses are quite easy to change. The fuses simply lift out and plug in. You can remove the fuse with a fuse puller or needle nose pliers.
For a Cavalier 2005-1995 driverside is 22" and the passenger 17"
