I have the same issue, so in the user manuel of the 1994 Cavalier, it's clearly indicate "If you don't want the doors to automatically unlock whenth e key is
turned to the OFF position, you can remove the Automatic Door Unlock
fuse. For fuse location, see the Index under Fuse Usage" The fuse name is : DR UNLK

Door locks are protected by circuit breakers. A surge of power to a fuse would cause it to blow. They are located in the fuse panel.
