Use a small pump with a long hose - pumps can be hand cranked, or attached to a drill for example If you're using a power drill you should NOT use an electric drill . Use an air powered drill. Electric tools give off electic sparks that could ignite gasoline fumes and cause a serious FIRE OR EXPLOSION.
A siphon hose has a squeeze bulb built into it to pull the air out of it until the fluid reaches a point of naturally flowing through the hose.
Without the bulb, and if you don't mind the taste of gas (along with the bad effects on your health) you could simply suck on the end until the gas starts to flow out of the tank. NOT RECOMMENDED
Almost no vehicle has a drain plug on the fuel tank.
You have to drop gas tank. Take gas tank off vehicle and drain it. Make sure your gas tank is almost empty due to it will be very heavy if full. You may even get hurt.
It Does Not Have A Gas Tank Drain Plug. You Will Have To Siphon The Gas Out. Or Drop The Tank With It In It. GOOD LUCK
They dont use a drain pug on the gas tank, only way to drain it is to get a siphone pump and drain it. oldgrizzly

No
There is no fuel tank drain plug.
The best way to remove the fuel pump from inside the gas tank on a 1999 Blazer is to drain the tank and remove it from the vehicle. Then the top of the gas tank can be accessed to retrieve the fuel pump.
Drain the gas out of your old tank. Be sure you have a proper receptacle to catch the draining fuel. Some fuel tanks have a drain cock that will allow you to drain all of the gas neatly. If you have a drain cock, it will be located at the lowest point on the tank. Loosen the valve and allow the gas to completely drain. If your tank has no drain cock, you'll have to drain it by removing one of the fuel lines. The rubber hose that exits the tank at its lowest point will drain the tank fully. It will either be connected to an electric fuel pump, fuel filter, or to a hard fuel line that goes to the front of the car. Loosen the clamp on the end of the line that connects to the gas tank. Pull the hose off and allow the gas to run out of the tank into your container until it is drained completely. Pour the gas into a gas can and store it safely. You can pour it into your new tank!
how do you drain the tank on a v star 650
What I've always done is put the gas tank on reserve and pull the hose that connects from the tank to the carb and have it drain into a gas can. It will get almost all the gas out of the tank.
You will likely need to drain the gas tank.
