How do you fix a driver side rear window in a 2004 Jeep Liberty that seems to have fallen off the track?
It has seemed to be a problem. Due to the center console it is easy for the arm to rest on the switch for the rear driver side window. This causes the spring that controls the window to break. It seems as if it is off track. You just need a new window regulator. Unfortunatly it is a dealer item and unless you you goto a junkyard it's expensive.

You need to replace the window motor relay. I've had all 4 window motor relays replaced 3 times each and the driver side replaced 4 times. Seems like a poor design or poor OEM quality.

Your window security button is on. You probably hit it without knowing. Just look the button that is by the window controls and press it. That will fix your problem. Why do I know this? Because it just happened to me and I called my friend Eddie and he told me what to do! : - ) Janna

1998 Saturn sl2 electric window on passenger side will not roll up?
I have this same Saturn. The driver's side rear window failed several years ago. The passenger's side failed tonight. Without taking the door apart to look it SEEMS like the window has simply separated from the track. Perhaps there is a pin or clip that comes of?? If you help the window up manually and roll it up at the same time you can get it to lock into the up possition. I am hoping someone else will have a more complete answer.
My driver side window sometimes won't go down I've found that it usually works when it's cool outside but when it's hot it never goes down it always rolls up though bad switch or motor possibly?
It seems as if there could be a problem with your motor. The metal in the motor may be swelling due to the heat and causing the window to stick.
