I was raised with the "Drive forward until your tires touch the curb, gently, as if touching an egg." training. As a result I have, more than once, put that low bumper, which makes no noise or resistance when it slides over curb, right over the top. You find this out when you back up and pull a portion of the bumper off. We knew I would likely do it again, so we use zip locks. It may not be professional, but it works. Do it again? You are only out a little time and more zip lock ties.
